Connecting to Your Bank


You can connect Monchilla to your bank account so bank transactions will be reflected in your Monchilla account.

  1. Under the Banking tab, click Accounts. The Accounts page appears.

  2. Click New Bank.

  3. In the Bank Name box, type the first few letters of your bank name, then select your bank from the list. Click Next.
    Note: If your bank isn't listed, it doesn't allow for automatic download, but you can still Add Your Bank Account Manually.

  4. Enter your bank account’s User ID and Password and click Next. Monchilla connects with your bank and attempts to verify your username and password.  This may take up to 2 minutes depending on the speed of your bank. When your bank account has been verified, a confirmation message appears.

  5. Click OK

  6. Click OK again. 

  7. Select your Primary Checking account from the menu and then click OK. The Download page opens. 

  8. On this page, you can view any unreconciled transactions. 

You've successfully connected your bank account.
