Connecting to Your Credit Card


You can connect Monchilla to your credit card so expense transactions will be reflected in your Monchilla account.

  1. Under the Banking tab, click Accounts. The Accounts page appears.

  2. Click the blue Credit Card Accounts tab on the left and then the green New Credit Card button. 

  3. In the Credit Card Name box, type the first few letters of your credit card name, then select your credit card from the list. Click Next.

  4. Note: If your credit card isn't listed, it doesn't allow for automatic download, but you can still add your credit card manually.

  5. Enter your credit card account’s User ID and Password and click Next. Monchilla connects with your credit card and attempts to verify your username and password.  This may take up to 2 minutes depending on the speed of your bank. When your credit account has been verified, a confirmation message appears.

  6. Click OK on the confirmation screen. 

  7. Click OK again on the credit card accounts screen. 

You've successfully connected your credit card account. Now you can record expenses from your credit card.
