Configure Billable Time

After you've set up employee time tracking, you can associate time logged with a product to make it billable time. For information about setting up employee time tracking, see Setup Employee Time Tracking.

To associate time with a product:

  1. Under the Income tab, click Products. The Products page opens.

  2. Click the product you want to add the activity to and then click Edit Item. The Products window opens.

  3. Click the Time tab.

  4. Click Add Activity. The Associated Time Node window appears.

    Note: To add a category or type, click Add Category or Add Type, respectively.

  5. Select the activity you want to associate with the product, and then click Save. The Products window opens.

  6. Click Save

Any time logged to that activity will be available to Add Billable Time to an Invoice.
